Present Partner and founder of law firm from January 1992 to present; with the firm of Limbach, Limbach & Sutton from October 1986 to January 1992. Experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, particularly for electrical and electronic circuits and systems, semiconductor processes, and computer programs in addition to mechanical devices, toys and medical devices; evaluating patents for infringement and validity; evaluating inventions for patentability; preparing and prosecuting copyright applications; preparing and prosecuting maskwork registrations under the Semiconductor Chip Protection Act; preparing and prosecuting trademark applications; preparing licensing and confidentiality agreements. Experience also includes litigation in areas of patent and trademark infringement, and unfair competition for theft of trade secrets. Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

ATTORNEY, INTEL CORPORATION November 1985 – October 1986
Attorney with Intel Corporation from November 1985 to October 1986. Experience included preparation, negotiation and review of technology licensing and cross-licensing agreements, software licensing agreement, subcontractor development agreements, purchase/sales agreements, performed employee exit interviews confirming employee confidentiality agreements with exiting employees, coordinated efforts of outside patent counsel, coordinated registration of maskworks in U.S. and Japan and prepared and prosecuted patent applications.

ATTORNEY, CSI 1985 – 1988
Attorney, corporate secretary, and founder of CSI, a secured link, data communications start-up venture from 1985 through 1988. Experience included incorporating the venture, establishing intellectual property protection guidelines, preparing third party consulting agreements, preparing confidentiality agreements, searching and selecting trademarks and tradenames and prosecution of patent and copyright applications.

LAW CLERK August 1983 – November 1985
Law Clerk with Intel Corporation from August 1983 to November 1985. Experience included litigation support including managing a 72 person effort to review, prepare, process, index and produce approximately three million documents. Prepared witnesses for and attended depositions. Prepared noninfringement arguments. Calculated potential damages.


ENGINEER, INTEL CORPORATION January 1979 – August 1983
Responsible for evaluating and debugging new computer peripheral controller integrated circuit designs, qualifying new products for volume production through accelerated life testing, failure analysis and design corrections; designing and manufacturing a signal translation subsystem and supporting customers in product use; introducing a new EPROM product manufactured by a new semiconductor process into high volume production, developing yield improvement programs; and the manufacture of approximately 30 different logic and memory devices. Supervised up to five technicians during this period.
