Our Team

Tina T. Wang

Tina Wang’s practice is concentrated in intellectual property protection.  She prepares and prosecutes patent applications, including U.S. and foreign applications, in the fields of nano-technology, green technology, mobile communication devices, electronic devices, semi-conductor devices, mechanical devices, software, games, and toys.  Tina has extensive experience preparing applications, evaluating inventions for patentability, drafting contractual agreements, preparing cease and desist letters, and drafting non-infringement opinions.  She also prepares and prosecutes trademark applications, and files copyright applications.

Ms. Wang’s prior technical experience includes working as a software developer at R.W. Johnson and at MForma, an engineer at Cisco Systems, and as the VP of Operations at Silicon Valley-China Wireless Technology Association, a non-profit organization.

Ms. Wang is conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese and understands Taiwanese.

Ms. Wang received a Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA in 2007, where she worked as a law clerk at The Law Office of Susan Yee and at The Schinner Law Group.  While at Golden Gate University, she was on the Dean’s List and received a Specialization Certificate in Intellectual Property Law.  Ms. Wang received a M.S. in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA in 2003.  Ms. Wang received a B.S. in Computer Science from University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, CA in 2001.  While at UCSD, she was on the Provost’s Honors List.

Ms. Wang is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.  She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
